On 7 September 2024, more than 200 young people from different regions of Ukraine took part in the All-Ukrainian Youth Forum "Molodvizh", held in the city of Lviv - European Youth Capital 2025. The Forum was organised by the Ministry of Youth and Sport of Ukraine, the Department of Youth and Sport of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, the Lviv City Council and the TVORY network.
At the Forum, the Council of Europe presented its resources in the youth sector, including:
- Special grants for young people from Ukraine for youth NGOs of the European Youth Foundation;
- A manual of the training course "Trauma-Informed Youth Work", which contains about 20 training sessions that can be conducted both for young people and for professional communities;
- A manual “Participatory Youth Policy”, based on the developed and approved Model General Short Training Programme "Participatory Youth Policy" for officials and representatives of local and regional authorities;
- A new board game on youth participation, developed for and with young people, to be piloted in 2024, etc.
“Each year, the event takes place around a specific theme chosen directly by the young people themselves. This time, Molodvizh was talking about challenges. Namely, the personal choice of who to be, which way to go and to focus on the main thing. In addition, this year's event honored the memory of those who died in a Russian attack on civilian objects in Lviv on 4 September. In particular, 21-year-old Yaryna Bazylevych, who worked at the MoloDvizh Centre and the TVORY network, and her family" Lviv Regional Military Administration.
